Location

Infused with Nature is located at Arohena, half an hour's drive south east of Te Awamutu in the Central North Island of New Zealand. This rural setting is ideal for growing the herbs which are used in Infused with Nature products.

From Te Awamutu travel south to Kihikihi, turn left onto Whitmore Street, opposite the Star Tavern (signposted Putaruru). The road changes to Arapuni Road. (Threadbear Cottage is a couple of minutes on the left).

After about 9 km (10 minutes) turn right onto Owairaka Valley Road (signposted Mangakino, Taupo). From there travel about 14.5 km (10 minutes) and you’ll come to Wharepapa South. Drive past the garage on your left, café and hall on your right (follow Taupo sign) and continue for approximately 1 km. Turn left onto Waipapa Road (signposted Taupo) and drive for approximately 10 minutes. Drive past the Arohena School turn-off, past Kahorekau Road on your right and we are the third driveway on your right after Kahorekau Road. We are situated at 1290 Waipapa Road on your right hand side - there is a Infused with Nature sign at the gate.

Visitors are welcome

Garden Circles, groups and bus trips are welcome to visit Pauline at her workshop on the farm.

The Calendula flowers are blooming between January and March and are well worth seeing
- contact Pauline to arrange.

About Infused with Nature

Pauline Stuart started making products to suit her own skin. The photo on the left was taken very recently (March 2010) and at the age of 55, Pauline cleanses her face using her own soap (any variety - whatever is to hand), and has done so for many years.

Infused with Nature products are beneficial to delicate or damaged skin and mature complexions. Natural ingredients such as calendula infused oil, carrot oil, cocoa butter and shea butter are used in order to moisturise and soothe the skin.

Special Features of Infused with Nature products:

Products contain ingredients which lubricate rather than dry the skin;
Products have proved to be beneficial to some people with eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis (see testimonials);
Simply by using our soaps, many people who have suffered with irritating rashes, have had their skin clear up;
Some products are unperfumed - others have essential oils added.
No artificial fragrances are used;
No artificial colours are used;
Products are paraben-free;
Sodium Laurel Sulphate is not used is any Infused with Nature products

Pauline and her team make everything from scratch and add home-grown/made calendula infused oil to their products. They buy in the best moisturising ingredients such as cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, olive oil, carrot oil and essential oils.

The Calendula Officinalis covers approximately a quarter acre and is quite a spectacle from January to March, with its beautiful bright orange flowers. The calendula flowers are infused in olive oil, many are dried, which are then used in soaps, ointments and balms. Pauline chose to grow and use Calendula because of its remarkable healing properties, it has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antifungal properties, which promote the speedy healing of wounds.
